Free News Search Service – Online Advertising
Silobreaker.com is our critically acclaimed search service that
aggregates content on global issues, science, technology, energy and business from some 13,000 news,
blog, research and multimedia sources around the world. For advertisers, we offer both traditional
and context-based advertising, advocating the same philosophy (and technology) for ads as for search
in general. The idea being, of course, that the more contextually relevant ads are the more interesting
users will find them. We believe this is a model that both users and advertisers will ask for in the future.
Online Media-Monitoring & Analysis - To be launched late 2009
Silobreaker Enterprise Online Service is our hosted customisable service that
delivers a simple and effective way for media monitoring customers to handle the entire work flow around
their monitoring and analysis needs. While today’s media monitoring and news clipping efforts remain
resource intensive, Silobreaker Enterprise automates much of the heavy lifting that either internal or
external analysts perform today manually. In a single intuitive and secure user interface, customers are
able to define monitoring targets, trigger content aggregation, perform analyses, and display results in a
customised web-service or by auto-generating PDF reports.
Technology Offerings
Silobreaker Enterprise Software Suite is our software solution aimed at corporate
and government customers who require local Silobreaker installations, as well as for publishers who wish to "silobreak"
an existing or new online service. The software suite enables a fully tailored media-monitoring solution in terms
of content types, internal and external content sources, taxonomies, thesauri, languages, tools, features and more.
Silobreaker Embeddable Widgets and API let users, bloggers, partners, publishers and site
owners extend their own services with Silobreaker's content and functionality. The basic Widgets are available to anyone
free of charge, while publishers and other content owners can license the widgets for use with their own content. This
enables, for instance, an online newspaper to embed a Network feature in its own website based on its own articles. For
