It was the only habitable room in the house which consisted of four bedrooms, a living room, bathroom, store room and kitchen. 'A number of rooms had been adapted to growing rooms for the cannabis with ventilation ducting having been run into the ceiling. It also featured fans and lighting. 'Two bedrooms were being used for growing plants. One of the rooms had herbal matter on the floor drying out. The bathroom was being used to store chemicals. 'He stated he had been offered a job whilst living in London, and the job was to look after the grass and he would be paid 200 per week. He travelled to Dundee and was met by a man he called The Boss.' Solicitor Rosemary Scott, defending, said her client's mother had debts in China and - along with the 30,000 he now owed to gangsters - he feared for his life if sent back."
