Senate confirms Babbitt as FAA administrator

US Senate last week confirmed former Air Line Pilots Assn. President Randy Babbitt, 62, as FAA administrator (ATWOnline, March 30). The confirmation giving Babbitt a five-year term ends a period that lasted more than 19 months in which the agency was headed by acting administrators.
