LONDON -(Dow Jones)- The U.K. opposition Conservative party confirmed Tuesday it won't hold a referendum on the European Union's Lisbon treaty if elected next year.
William Hague, who speaks on foreign policy for the party, told Sky News that with the Lisbon treaty now ratified by all 27 E.U. member states, the Conservatives won't hold a vote on it.
