Silobreaker wins Cyber Defense Magazine’s award as 2019 Groundbreaking Company in Threat Intelligence

Silobreaker presented with the InfoSec Award at the RSA 2019 conference in San Francisco.

London – 4 March 2019 – Intelligence technology company Silobreaker was today awarded the Groundbreaking Company Threat Intelligence InfoSec Award for 2019 by Cyber Defense Magazine.

Gary S. Miliefsky, Publisher, Cyber Defense Magazine said: “As the scope for cyber threat intelligence is expanding to outside the perimeter of large organizations, context around threats is becoming paramount for obtaining new and strategic insights. Silobreaker has won the Groundbreaking Company Threat Intelligence InfoSec Award from our magazine for being a leader in delivering intelligence from unstructured data and for bridging use-cases between data types and platforms. Silobreaker is one of our award winners after we reviewed nearly 3,000 infosec companies globally.”

Silobreaker is a technology company that specialises in analysing and contextualising unstructured data from the open, deep and dark web. The company combines external data with proprietary technology to provide products that support the human analysis and workflow required to detect, predict and respond to threats, risks, incidents and opportunities. Silobreaker’s focus on making sense of unstructured data offers complementary insights and context to the technical and structured threat data found in traditional threat intelligence platforms.

On receiving the award, Silobreaker’s CEO, Kristofer Mansson, commented: “This recognition by Cyber Defense Magazine and its panel of judges is a great testament to the spirit and hard work of the entire Silobreaker team and our effort to bring innovative technology and value to customers. We are delighted to accept the award.”
